My recollection of this shot is limited. I believe that I was doing a series of accessories which had snake skin patterns. The model in this shot was quite amazing in her stalwart attitude.

Bazaar rented the snake along with a "handler." But the snake kept sinking its teeth into this model's side, and as the handler would pull back on the snake her skin would be pulled along with the snake (which would not loosen its grip).

The model merely laughed off the bites, and was not at all upset (reminds me of another shoot I did with Stephanie Powers, and a pair of tigers, but that's another story).

I finally took the snake, and chilled it (a bit) in front of an air conditioner (sorry PETA). Thereon the snake was remarkably well behaved!
